AN ACT to amend the Public Holidays Act, Cap. 354.

[ 28th December, 2000 1

ENACTED by the Parliament of Antigua and Barbuda as
follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Public Holidays (Amend- short title.
ment) Act, 2000.

2. The Schedule to the Public Holidays Act is amended Amendment to
the Schedule to
Cap. 354.

(a) by repealing "CaribbeanCommunity (Caricom) Day"
and substituting the following:

"Vere Cornwall Bird (Snr.) Day"; and

(b) by inserting after "The first Monday in August", the
following:

ANTIGUA 2
AND

BARBUDA

Public Holidays (Amendment) No. 19 of 2000.

"The Tuesday following the f ist Monday in
August."
