(AMENDMENT) ACT, 2007

AN ACT to amend the Public Servants (Voluntary Separation) Act, 2006, in respect of police
officers.
ENACTED by the Parliament of Antigua and Barbuda as follows:—
1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Public Servants (Voluntary Separation) (Amendment) Act, 2007.
2. Interpretation
In this Act, the “principal Act” means the Public Servants (Voluntary Separation) Act, 2006.
3. New section 6A
The principal Act is amended by inserting after section 6 the following section —
“Pension calculation Cap. 330
6A. For greater certainty, pension benefits for employees who have accepted an offer of
voluntary early retirement and who were, at the time they received the offer, g verned by
the provisions of the Police Act, Cap. 330, shall be calculated in accordance with the
provisions of that Act and the Regulations made hereunder.”
