THE HOSPITAL INSURANCE (DEDUCTIONS) AMENDMENT
REGULATIONS 2004

The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by
section 40 of the Hospital Insurance Act 1970, makes the following
Regulations:

Citation
1 These Regulations may be cited as the Hospital Insurance
(Deductions) Amendment Regulations 2004.

Amendments
2 The Hospital Insurance (Deductions) Regulations 1971 are
amended as follows:

(a) in regulation 2(1)(a), for "$12.49" substitute "$13.85";

(b) in regulation 2(1)(b), for "$54.15" substitute "$60.00";

(c) in regulation 3(1), for "$12.49" substitute "$13.85".

Commencment
3 These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 April 2004.
