TRAFFIC OFFENCES PROCEDURE ORDER 2004

The Minister of Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on
him by section 23(1) of the Traffic Offences Procedure Act 1974, makes
the following Order:

Citation
1 This Order may be cited as the Traffic Offences Procedure Order
2004.

Interpretation
2 In this Order "the Act" means the Traffic Offences Procedure Act
1974.

Amends Schedule 1 to the Act
3 Schedule 1 to the Act is amended under the heading "Motor Car
Act 1951" by inserting next after the entry in respect of section 12(1) the
following new entry —

"Failing to wear a seat belt contrary to Motor Car Act 1951
Section 20 C".
