FISHERIES (ALBERTA) AMENDMENT ACT, 2002 FISHERIES (ALBERTA) AMENDMENT ACT, 2002
Chapter 14
HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows:
Amends RSA 2000 cF‑16
1   The Fisheries (Alberta) Act is amended by this Act.
 
2, 3   Repealed 2015 c7 s41.
 
4   The Agricultural Pests Act is amended by adding the following after section 2:
Order under Fisheries (Alberta) Act
2.1(1)  A declaration by the Minister responsible for the Fisheries (Alberta) Act under section 33.1(4) of that Act operates as a declaration under section 2(1).
(2)  This Act, except section 2(2)(a) to (c), applies with all necessary modifications to an order referred to in subsection (1).
 
5   The Wildlife Act is amended
                             (a)    in the following provisions by adding “or under an order under section 33.1 of the Fisheries (Alberta) Act” after “Agricultural Pests Act”:
section 24(2); section 25(2)(b); section 32(3)(b); section 32(7)(b)(ii); section 40(8)(b); section 41(4);
                             (b)    in section 36(2)(a) by adding “or under an order under section 33.1 of the Fisheries (Alberta) Act” after “Water Act”.

6   This Act comes into force on Proclamation.
