Miscellaneous Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Order 1991
THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 1, 3, 6, 10 and 42 of the Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Law 1956,[1] orders as follows –

For all the purposes of the Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Law 1956[2] (hereinafter referred to as the “Law”) the definition of “disease” in Article 1(3) of the Law is extended, except in so far as the Law applies to poultry, so as to include the diseases specified in the Schedule to this Order.

The Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Jersey) Order 1958,[3] with the exception of Article 2 of that Order, shall apply to each of the diseases specified in the Schedule to this Order as it applies to foot-and-mouth disease, and as if references in that Order to foot-and-mouth disease were references to each of the diseases so specified, and any forms, notices or other documents for use under that Order as applied by this Order shall be subject to the necessary modifications and adaptations.

This Order may be cited as the Miscellaneous Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Order 1991.
