SECTION 35-6-41



   § 35-6-41  Refund of erroneous or excessive

payments to state. –

Whenever an erroneous payment or any payment in excess of the correct amount

has been made to the state, the general treasurer shall refund the erroneous

payment or overpayment; and the state controller, upon receipt by him or her of

proper vouchers is authorized and directed to draw his or her orders upon the

general treasurer for the refund of any erroneous payment or overpayment.
