Separate records to be kept--open to inspection.

82.370. The license collector shall keep a separate record or book for

each kind of license or tax receipt which he is authorized to issue, in each

of which shall be recorded the names of all applicants for such licenses, the

place at which the applicant is permitted to conduct the business authorized,

if the license is for such purpose, otherwise the place of business or

residence of the applicant, and the date of issuance of the license, all of

which shall be public and open to the inspection of any citizen; he shall

also keep all statements and affidavits furnished him in his office for

public reference and the convenience of the officers of such city.
