Meet these requirements when using roof bracket scaffolds.

You must make sure scaffold brackets meet all of the following: (1) Are constructed to fit the pitch of the roof; (2) Provide a level support for the platform; (3) Are anchored in place by nails.

Note:
If it's not practical to use nails to anchor brackets, secure them in place with first grade manila rope of at least three-quarters inch (1.9 cm) diameter, or equivalent.
