RULE §55.102 Criteria for Reporting Past-Due Child Support to Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies

(a) Pursuant to Texas Family Code §231.114, the Office of the Attorney General shall report the amount of a child support obligation, including the amount of any past-due child support, to consumer credit reporting agencies. (b) The Office of the Attorney General shall report a past-due amount of child support as "past-due, and zero months delinquent," if:   (1) the court of continuing jurisdiction has previously entered an order which adjudicated the amount of past-due child support owed by the non-custodial parent and required periodic payments to reduce that arrearage; and   (2) the non-custodial parent has timely paid each periodic payment for current and past-due child support required by that order.
