The Steering Committee for implementation of the national scheme on raising the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods and services shall be headed by the Trade Minister - Vice Chairman of the National Committee for International Economic Cooperation.

The Steering Committee is tasked to set up specialized research working groups, elaborate working programs and tempo schedules for the Committee and specialized research working groups, which shall conduct also research and survey activities in service of the scheme elaboration; organize working sessions with the concerned ministries and branches in order to finalize the scheme�s detailed program; organize the elaboration of the scheme�s detailed contents under the direction of the Chairman of the National Committee for International Economic Cooperation and the head of the scheme�s Steering Committee; report to the Government for the scheme approval in early fourth quarter of 2002.- (Summary)
