DECISION No. 1205/QD-TTg of September 5, 2001 on the establishment of the Steering Committee for the construction of Central Stadium in the National Sport Complex
The Steering Committee for the Construction of the Central Stadium in the National Sport Complex shall be composed of Vice Minister of Construction Nguyen Hong Quan as its chairman and representatives of the concerned ministries and branches as its vice chairmen and members.
The Steering Committee for the Construction of the Central Stadium shall be tasked to:
- Coordinate and inspect organizations and units participating in the construction of the Central Stadium, including the concerned ministries, branches and localities, investors and contractors, so as to ensure the work quality and set schedule;
- Approve the detailed schedules for the building of projects and items belonging to the Central Stadium;
The Steering Committee for the Construction of the Central Stadium shall have the following powers:
- Under the Prime Minister�s authorization, to directly resolve, handle or report to the Prime Minister for the settlement and handling, matters arising in the course of building the Central Stadium, thus ensuring the implementation of the Decision on the investment in the project on building the Central Stadium with highest efficiency;
- When necessary, to request agencies and units to report on or resolve matters relating to the construction of the Central Stadium;
- To hold regular or irregular meetings to resolve matters relating to the construction of the Central Stadium;
- To propose the commendation of collectives and individuals that record achievements in the course of performing their assigned tasks;
- To propose the discipline of and material compensations by collectives and individuals that breach set schedule, technical or quality criteria, as well as construction sites� internal rules while performing their assigned tasks.- (Summary)
