To transform a State enterprise being Construction Company No.40 under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development into Construction Joint Stock Company No.40 or CTXD 40.

The joint stock company�s head office: 292 Cach Mang Thang 8 street, Can Tho city, Can Tho province.

The joint stock company shall have a charter capital of VND 16,176,000,000, of which the State�s shares account for 30%, the proportion of shares to be sold to its laborers: 60%, and share proportion to be sold to entities outside the enterprise shall be 10%.

Construction Joint Stock Company No.40 shall engage in the following business lines and trades:

- Constructing irrigation and water conservancy works, including: embankments, dikes, dams, canals, ditches, reservoirs; hydroelectric power plants; traffic, industrial and civil works;

- Repairing and supplying spare parts, specialized water conservancy equipment; manufacturing and installing sluice-gates and construction steel structures; building and repairing barges;

- Performing construction consultancy works: formulating and evaluating investing projects, survey, designing and making cost estimates of construction irrigation, traffic and civil projects and wrapping materials for grade-3 industrial projects; bidding for selecting managers, procuring construction supplies and equipment and conducting pre-acceptance inspection;
