The Provisional Regulation on the inspection of quality of concrete in irrigation works by the non-destructive method of using ultra-sonic measuring machines and concrete guns, issued together with this Decision, comprises 5 chapters with 15 articles.

Ultra-sonic measuring machines and concrete guns shall be used to inspect concrete�s quality only in the following cases:

- At places where there are doubts about concrete�s intensity and uniformity due to technical incidents in construction such as interruption due to rain, or failure to tamp thoroughly because of too thick steel reinforcement, or poor cement quality which was not inspected before concrete laying�

- At places where cracks appear, with their depth and width to be determined;

- This method shall not apply to concrete structures with the thickness of under 30 cm.

This Regulation also specifies the order and procedures for the inspection of concrete�s quality, technical conditions and requirements, as well as funding for the inspection of concrete�s quality by using ultra sonic machines.- (Summary)
