The Regulation on exercising democracy in schools� activities issued together with this Decision stipulates the contents related to the exercise of democracy in activities of schools and public education establishments of the national education system: the purposes of the exercise of democracy in schools, the principles therefor; the responsibilities of principals, teachers, cadres and officials; the learners� rights to know and suggest their opinions; the responsibilities of the schools; the responsibilities of units and mass organizations in the schools; the relations for settlement of affairs between schools and higher-level management agencies as well as local administration.- (Summary)
