DECISION No. 125/2000/QD-BNN-BVTV OF DECEMBER 6, 2000 ON EXCEPTIONAL REGISTRATION OF A KIND OF PLANT PROTECTION DRUG IN VIETNAM

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to the Government�s Decree No. 73/CP of November 1, 1995 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to Article 26 of the Ordinance on Plant Protection and Quarantine of February 15, 1993;

Pursuant to the Regulation on Management of Plant Protection Drugs, issued together with the Government�s Decree No. 92/CP of November 27, 1993, guiding the implementation of the Ordinance on Plant Protection and Quarantine;

At the proposals of the director of Plant Protection Department and the director of Science-Technology and Product Quality Department,

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To permit the exceptional registration of rodenticide with the trade name as Ars rat killer 0.05% per pill, with the active substance named Warfarin into the List of plant protection drugs, allowed for use in Vietnam.

Article 2.- Export, import of the drug kind issued together with this Decision shall comply with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development�s Circular No. 41/2000/TT-BNN-KH of April 13, 2000 guiding the export and import of goods subject to the specialized management by the agricultural service under the Prime Minister�s Decision No. 242/1999/QD-TTg of December 30, 1999 on goods export management in 2000. The production, processing and trading of the above-mentioned kind of drug shall comply with the Government�s Decree No. 30/2000/ND-CP of August 11, 2000.

Article 3.- This Decision takes effect 15 days after its signing.

The Department of Plant Protection shall have to provide detailed instructions on the safe and effective use of above-mentioned plant protection drug.

Article 4.- The director of the Ministry�s Office, the director of Plant Protection Department, the director of Science - Technology and Product Quality Department, the heads of the units attached to the ministry, domestic organizations and individuals and foreigners that manage, produce, trade in and use the plant protection drugs in Vietnam, shall have to implement this Decision.
