Law since the General Council in its session of the 22nd September 2010 has approved the following: Law 65/2010, of 22 September, extraordinary credit of the Department of tourism of the Government to deal with the costs of investment for the tourist signage outside reason tourist activity is currently one of the productive sectors determinants of the Andorran economy because it has a specific weight in the activities that are directly related (hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, etc.) and in the other with what, in an indirect way, maintains a close relationship (shopping, sports, culture, etc.). This fact requires undertaking actions aimed to position Andorra as an attractive tourist destination, offering the products and services you are looking for the visitor. In order to achieve constant improvement of competitiveness as a tourist destination and, consequently, to maintain and increase the economic contribution of this sector to the gross national product, the Tourism Department of the Government, should deal with this in a new project that is estimated to be essential. After having carried out these last few years, the signs of the road network in Andorra, and have placed the first phase of the patrimonial and tourist signage throughout the year 2009, it is necessary to mark the sites of tourist interest to allow the visitor moves through our territory as clear as possible, and you find that search of quickly.
