The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation assembled in Congress, etc. sanction with force of Law:

ARTICLE 1 Amend Article 3 of Law 22.431, which shall read as follows:

The Ministry of Health shall certify in each case the existence of the disability, its nature and its degree, as well as the possibilities of rehabilitation of the affected person. The Ministry will also indicate, taking into account the personality and background of the affected person, what type of work or professional activity it can perform.

The certificate to be issued shall be called Unique Disability Certificate and shall fully credit the disability throughout the national territory in all cases where it is necessary to invoke it, except as provided for in article 19 of this Act.

The validity of the certificates issued by the provinces adhering to Act No. 24,901 shall be valid for their purposes, subject to compliance with the requirements and conditions established by regulation.

ARTICLE 2 The national executive branch shall regulate the provisions of this law within one hundred and twenty (120) days of its promulgation. Article 3 Contact the Executive.
