ARTICLE 1 The meteorites and other celestial bodies that are or are entering the Argentine territory in the future, their airspace and jurisdictional waters are cultural property in the terms of the first paragraph of Article 2 of Law No. 25.197.

ARTICLE 2 The meteorites and other celestial bodies referred to in the preceding article are covered by the effects and scope of the Thousands Convention on the measures to be taken to prohibit and prevent the illegal importation, exportation and transfer of cultural property, adopted by Law No. 19,943 and by the 3,000th UNIDROIT Convention on Stolen or Illegally Exported Cultural Objects, adopted by Law No. 25,257.
