Law:
ARTICLE 1 -Substitute Annex XVII of Law 26,962, which authorizes the departure of personnel and means of the Argentine Navy from the territory of the Nation, to participate in the combined exercise "ACRUX", which is drafted in the form indicated in the Annex I to this Act.

ANNEX I
BASIC INFORMATION FOR THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE INTRODUCTION OF FOREIGN TROOPS INTO THE TERRITORY OF THE NATION AND THE DEPARTURE OF NATIONAL FORCES OUTSIDE IT.
1. Type of activity to be developed
Multilateral Combined Exercise of Training in the River, "ACRUX".
2. Project origin
The "ACRUX" Fluvial Operations Exercise began in 1999 with the participation of our country, the FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL, the PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA, the REPUBLIC OF PARAGUAY AND THE EASTERN REPUBLIC OF URUGUAY.
Its execution is of interest for the advanced degree of specialization in techniques and tactics that requires a river environment, allowing to integrate other navies that do not have units to operate in the high seas (REPUBLIC OF PARAGUAY and STATE PLURINATIONAL OF BOLIVIA).
This exercise has a biannual development, with rotating headquarters. During the year 2001, it was carried out in the FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL, concreting only the planning and development as a Board Game.
In 2005, it was carried out in the Argentine Republic. In 2008, the exercise was carried out in the EASTERN REPUBLIC OF URUGUAY; in 2009, in the FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL; in 2011, in the ARGENTINE REPUBLIC; and in the EASTERN REPUBLIC OF URUGUAY in 2013.
3. Fundamentals of the objectives of the activity
The implementation of this multinational combined exercise strengthens military cooperation and helps to improve interoperability between the navies of the participating countries, by conducting river exercises. integrated with surface, air and Marine Corps media.
In addition, the activities in port contribute to increasing mutual knowledge and friendly ties between the participating countries.
4. Setting up the activity
a. Place of realization
The exercises will be carried out in the waters of the PARAGUAY-PARANÁ, RIO URUGUAY and RIO DE LA PLATA and the host country will be the FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL.
b. Attempts to enter/egress and duration of the activity
It will take place between the months of June and July 2015. The execution opportunity will be adjusted according to the operational availability of the Armed Forces of the participating countries and as coordinated at the planning meetings, with an approximate duration of DIEZ (10) days of operation (navigation and port) and thirty (30) days of transfer.
c. Participating countries and observers
PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA, FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL, REPUBLIC OF PARAGUAY, EASTERN REPUBLIC OF URUGUAY AND REPUBLIC OF ARGENTINA.
1) Effective, quantity, types, equipment and armament: The participating media are the following, being able to suffer some variation depending on the operational availability of the same for the date and place of realization:
Own resources:
• DOS (2) Patrolman Ships (ARA "KING"), with a maximum of HUNDRED AND NINETY (190) effective.
• DOS (2) Multipurpose-type Vessels (ARA "CITY OF ROSARIO") with a maximum of SIXTY-FIVE (65) effective.
• UNA (1) Patrolera Patrolera Type (ARA "RIO SANTIAGO"), with a maximum of DIEZ (10) effective.
• ONE (1) Tactical Buzos Group, with a maximum of QUINCE (15) effective.
• ONE (1) Marine Corps, with a maximum of HUNDRED THIRTY (130) effective.
• ONE (1) Minor Boarding Company, with a maximum of forty (40) effective.
• ONE (1) Aircraft B-200, with a maximum of SEIS (6) effective.
Means of the NAVY OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL:
• UN (1) Buque Transporte de Troopers.
• DOS (2) Rio Patrulleras.
• Minor Vessels.
• ONE (1) Marine Corps.
Media of the ARMADA DE LA REPÚBLICA DEL PARAGUAY:
• One (1) Rio Patrol Buque.
• ONE (1) Marine Corps.
• TWO (2) Patroller boats.
ARMED FORCES OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA:
• TWO (2) Coastal Patrol boats.
• Minor Vessels.
• ONE (1) Marine Corps.
Means of the NATIONAL NAVY OF THE EASTERN REPUBLIC OF URUGUAY:
• TWO (2) Coastal Patrol boats.
• Minor Vessels.
• ONE (1) Marine Corps.
The final details of the participating media, as well as the presence of observers from other countries, will result from the planning meetings.
d. Deployment of troops and media
The exercises will be carried out in the waters of the rivers of the SILVER BASIN. The deployment detail will be determined once the planning process is complete. The participating units have previewed the entrance to a port of the host country in quality of operational visit for logistic purposes, and to carry out the final criticism of the exercise for the purpose of drawing conclusions and to agree recommendations for future exercises.
e. Immunity required for foreign troops entering, and/or immunity to be granted by other States for the national forces that graduate
It is not required.
f. approximate cost
The cost of the operation of our means amounts to the sum of PESOS SEVEN MILLION FOUR HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-SEVEN ($7,481,287).
g. Sources of financing
The cost will be covered with budget funds from the ARGENTINE NAVY.
5. situational framework
The guiding concept of this exercise is based on the fulfillment of a hypothetical mission of peace under the mandate of the UNITED NATIONS, characterized by the permanent management of crises and rules of engagement, during which they are carried out. (a) the use of naval surface, air and marine infantry in a simulated multi-threat environment by the use of naval surface, air and ground forces. In this context, tactics are developed and improved, operating procedures for the use of naval forces are analyzed, and operations are coordinated in the rivers.
