The notification referred to in Article 48 (1) of the Framework Agreement was adopted on 26 October 2009. Lodged with the Secretary-General of the Council of the European Union in 2011; according to the note by the Secretary-General, the Framework Agreement entered into force on 1 May 2014 in accordance with Article 48 (1) of the Treaty.

The framework agreement has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union, OJ L 3 No. OJ L 125 of 26.04.2014 p. 17.
