345. Regulation of the Federal Minister of Health, amending the Extraction Solvent Regulation

On the basis of § 6 (1) and (2) of the Food Safety and Consumer Protection Act-LMSVG, BGBl. I n ° 13/2006, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I n ° 95/2010, shall be assigned in agreement with the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Family and Youth:

The Extraction Solvent Regulation, BGBl. N ° 642/1995, as amended by the BGBl Regulation. II No 465/1998, shall be amended as follows:

1. § 1 reads:

" § 1. This Regulation shall apply to extraction solvents used in the production of foodstuffs or their ingredients; however, for extraction solvents for the production of additives, vitamins or other nutrients, only then, if these are expressly stated in the annexes. "

2. In § 2 the term " ", consumable products" .

3. § 5 reads:

" § 5. This Regulation implements the following directives of the European Union:

-		Directive 2009 /32/EC of 23 April 2009 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to extraction solvents used in the production of foodstuffs and food ingredients, OJ L 327, 30.4.2009, p. No. OJ L 141 of 6. 6. 2009, p. 3,
-		Directive 2010 /59/EC of 26 August 2010 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to extraction solvents used in the production of foodstuffs and food ingredients, OJ L 327, 30.4.2010, p. No. OJ No L 225, 27. 8. 2010, p. 10 "

4. The following line shall be added to Appendix 2:

" Dimethyl Ether

Manufacture of degreased animal protein products

0.009 mg/kg in the degreased protein product "

5. The following lines shall be added to Appendix 3:

" methanol	1.5 mg/kg
Propan-2-ol	1 mg/kg "
