To all, present and to come, Hi.
The House of Representatives adopted and sanctioned the following:
Article 1
er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 74 of the Constitution.
Art. 2. In Article 7 of the Organic Law of Intelligence and Security Services of 30 November 1998, as amended by the Law of 6 December 2015, is inserted on 3° /1, as follows:
"3° /1 to search, analyze and process information relating to the activities of foreign intelligence services in Belgian territory;".
Art. 3. Article 9 of the same law is supplemented by the words "and 3° /1".
Art. 4. In section 11 of the Act, amended by the Acts of 4 February 2010 and 6 December 2015, the following amendments are made:
1° paragraph 1
er is completed by a 5°, written as follows:
"5° to search, analyze and process information relating to the activities of foreign intelligence services in Belgian territory. ";
2° in paragraph 3, paragraph 1
er the words "seen to § 1
er, 1°, 2° and 3° " are replaced by the words "seeed in paragraph 1
er, 1°, 2°, 3° and 5°.
Art. 5. In section 18/1 of the Act, inserted by the Act of 4 February 2010, the following amendments are made:
(a) at 1°, the words "articles 7, 1° and 8, 1° to 4°" are replaced by the words "articles 7, 1° and 3° /1 and 8, 1° to 4° ;";
(b) at 2°, the words "articles 11, § 1
er, 1° to 3°, and § 2" are replaced by the words "articles 11, § 1
er, 1° to 3° and 5°, and § 2".
Art. 6. Article 18/9, § 1
er, 1°, of the same law, inserted by the law of 4 February 2010, is supplemented by the words "or in relation to an activity of a foreign intelligence service".
Art. 7. Section 20 of the Act, as amended by the Act of 6 December 2015, is supplemented by paragraph 4 as follows:
§ 4. For the missions described in Article 7, 3° /1 and Article 11, § 1
er5°, the State Security and the General Intelligence and Security Service conclude a cooperation agreement on the basis of directives obtained from the National Security Council. ".
Promulgation of this law, let us order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
