16 DECEMBER 2015. - An Act to fix the military contingent for the year 2016 (1)

PHILIPPE, King of the Belgians,
To all, present and to come, Hi.
The House of Representatives adopted and sanctioned the following:
Article 1^er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 74 of the Constitution.
Art. 2. The military contingent for 2016 is set at a maximum of 30,820 military personnel.
Not included in this number, military personnel who are on standby under the Act of 25 May 2000 on the laying-off of certain military personnel from the active military and military personnel who are on voluntary suspension of benefits under sections 36 to 50 of the Act of 22 December 2008 on various provisions (1).
Art. 3. This Act comes into force on 1^er January 2016.
Promulgation of this Act; order that it be put on the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
