19 MARCH 2012. - An Act to amend the Act of 2 March 1954 to prevent and punish violations of the free exercise of sovereign powers established by the Constitution with a view to amending the neutral zone (1)



ALBERT II, King of the Belgians,
To all, present and to come, Hi.
The Chambers adopted and We sanction the following:
Article 1er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 77 of the Constitution.
Art. 2. Article 3, paragraph 1erthe Act of 2 March 1954 to Prevent and Suppress Offences to the Free Exercise of the Sovereign Powers established by the Constitution is replaced by the following provision:
"Open-air rallies and individual demonstrations are prohibited in the part of the territory of the capital including the following public routes: Ducale Street, North Street (from Louvain Street to Chokier Square), rue de la Croix-de-Fer, rue Royale (from the cross-roads of the Croix-de-Fer, of the education and of the Treurenberg in Place Royale »
Promulgate this law, order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
