ESTABLISHMENT PROHIBITION OF INFORMATION AGAINST FINANCING SERVICES AND HEALTH ACTIONS IN LAW No. 19,628

Bearing in mind that the H. National Congress has given its approval to the next bill initiated in motion by the Honourable Senator Jaime Quintana Leal, and of the exsenators Mr. Guido Girardi Lavín, Mrs. Carolina Goic Boroevic and Mr. Rabindranath Quinteros Lara,

Bill:

"Unique item. Intercálase, en el párrafo 2 del article 17 of the Law No. 19,628, on the protection of private life, in order to prohibit the reporting of debts incurred to finance health services and actions, following the expression "at any of its levels;", the following: "nor debts owed to public or private health providers and related companies, such as financial institutions, commercial houses or other similar ones, in the framework of outpatient, hospital or emergency health care, programs, procedures, examinations, operations or other operations".

Transitory article.- This law shall enter into force from the one hundred and eighty days after the publication of it. Those responsible for the records or banks of personal data that store and communicate information on the obligations covered by this law shall remove all data related to them, within the time specified above. ".

And for I have had it good to approve and punish it; therefore, promute and take it into effect as the Law of the Republic.
