LAW NUM. 19.569 |! | AUTHORIZES TO ERECT A MONUMENT IN THE CITY OF LIMACHE, IN MEMORY OF DOÑA PALMIRA ROMAN PIRINO |! | Having present that the H. National Congress has |! |given its approval to the following |! | P r o y c t o d e l e y: '' Article 1.- He was authorized to erect a monument in the city of Limache, in memory of Dona Palmyra Romano Piraino. Article 2.-The work will be financed through popular services, obtained through public collections, donations and other private contributions. The public collections referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be made on the dates determined by the special commission established in Article 4, in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior. Article 3.-Create a fund to receive the services, donations and other contributions mentioned in the previous article. Article 4.-Create a special commission, composed of six members ad honorem, charged with executing the objectives of this law, which will be constituted by: a) The Mayor of the illustrious Municipality of Limache. b) A representative of the National Council for the Protection of the Ancianidad of Limache. c) A representative of the Red Cross of Limache. d) A representative of the Club of Huasos '' Los Laureles '' of Limache. e) A representative of the Limache Fire Department. f) A representative of the Council of National Monuments. The commission will be chaired by the Mayor of the illustrious municipality of Limache, a city in which it will function, and its quorum to hold and adopt agreements will be that of the majority of its members. In case of a tie, the chairman of the committee would be headed. Article 5.-The commission shall have the following functions: (a) determine the date and the manner in which the public collections referred to in Article 2 are to be carried out, as well as to carry out the necessary steps for its implementation. b) To determine the location of the monument, in coordination with the respective municipality and the Council of National Monuments, and to arrange and monitor its construction, prior to compliance with the provisions of Article 18 of Law No 17.288, on National monuments. c) Call for public competition of projects for the execution of the work, establish its bases and resolve it. d) Manage the fund created by Article 3. e) Open a special current account to manage the fund. Article 6.-If once the monument has been constructed, it will be left over from the erogations received, these will be destined to the end that the commission will determine.
