REGULATES EVACUATION AND DRAINAGE SYSTEMS FOR RAINWATER Having present that the H. National Congress has |! |given its approval to the following P r o y c t o d e l e y: " Article 1.-The State will ensure that in the cities and in the populated centers there are systems for the evacuation and drainage of rainwater that allow for easy drainage and disposal and prevent the damage that they can cause to people, to housing and, in general, to urban infrastructure. The planning, study, projection, construction, repair, maintenance and improvement of the primary network of drainage systems and drainage of rainwater will be the responsibility of the Ministry of Public Works. The secondary network will be in charge of the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism to whom it will correspond, directly, its planning and study and, through the Housing and Urbanization Services, the projection, construction, repair and maintenance of the itself. The Directorate of Hydraulic Works and Housing and Urbanization Services may contract the performance of the works to the provisions of this law, according to the procedures laid down in their respective organic standards, the health services companies may be eligible for such contracts.
