Having regard to the order of 8 January 2001 laying down the conditions for the approval of the Training in management capacity to exploit, for consideration, an educational institution for the driving of motor vehicles and road safety;
In view of the decree of 1 June 2001 on the operation of the establishments providing, For consideration, the training of candidates for the examination of the patent for the exercise of the profession of teaching motor driving and road safety;
On the proposal of the Director of Safety and Traffic Roadmaps,
Stop:
This specific training course is designed to reinforce the knowledge and skills of operators. The objectives of this training, the professional themes developed and the qualifications of the trainers are set out in Annex I to this Order.
The following are entitled to provide this training course:
-the bodies approved by the Prefect to deliver the training to the management capacity in accordance with the provisions of the decree of 8 January 2001 ;
-establishments providing for the training of applicants for the exercise of the profession of teachers of motor driving and road safety (BEPECASER), in accordance with the provisions of the decree of 1 June 2001 above.
Organisations or institutions wishing to provide training in the updating of knowledge must address the prefect of the department of their head office, prior to the implementation of the Training, a file containing the following documents:
-the detailed content of the training, in accordance with the professional objectives and themes set out in Annex I to this Order;
-the organisation and procedures for implementing the Traineeships;
-the place (s) and schedule of the traineeships;
-the photocopy of the diplomas of the trainers, in accordance with the provisions of Annex I to this decree.
The prefect has two months to give his opinion. If there is no reply within the prescribed period, the opinion of the administration is deemed to be favourable.
The prefect maintains the list of bodies providing training in the updating of knowledge.
Organizations providing training for refreshing knowledge must:
-organize internships whose number of participants must not be less than six or more than fifteen;
-issue a certificate of refresher of the knowledge to each person who has completed a full course of training. This certificate must be in accordance with Annex II to this Decree;
-to send to the prefect before 31 December each year an annual review of the traineeships organised in the past year, including for each training the number of participants, the Date of the traineeship, as well as a training programme for the coming year.
The Prefect is empowered to ensure the supervision of these bodies, in particular as regards compliance with the specification. In the event of a disability, the prefect may withdraw the authorisation to provide such training.
Prior to any decision to withdraw the authorisation, the prefect shall bring to the attention of the person concerned by registered letter with notice of receipt of his intention To withdraw its authorisation, specifying the reasons given and asking it to submit, within 30 clear days, written observations and, where appropriate, on its request, oral observations by being assisted or Represent by an agent of his or her choice. If there is no reply within the prescribed period, the procedure is deemed to be contradictory.
Operators of establishments approved for training in the management capacity or training of candidates for examination of the patent for the exercise of the profession of driving teacher Automobile and road safety may not take a refresher training course in their own institution (s).
The Director of Traffic Safety and Traffic is responsible for the execution of this Order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.

TRAINING FOR THE REPRESALISATION OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE EXPLOITANTS OF THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS CONDUCT
Training objectives:
To value the role of professionals in driving as actors in road safety, in the light of developments in national and local road safety
. Refreshing knowledge and strengthening the skills of operators in the various professional fields.
To promote the development of the quality of driving and road safety
. The trainee must be able to:
-understand recent developments in the professional sector (pedagogical and psycho-pedagogical aspects, regulations, socio-economic data);
-implement these developments In its professional activities;
-measure the relationship between its own activity and the results that can result both in the exercise of its business and in relation to road safety objectives;
-measure its performance Additional training requirements.

Duration:
The hourly volume devoted to each theme Is on the initiative of the training organization. However, at least 50 % of the duration of the training must be devoted to the first three themes (road safety culture, pedagogy and psychopedagogy, occupational regulation).
