Key Benefits:
In accordance with Commission Decision No 2003 /899/EC of 28 November 2003, published in the Official Journal of the European Union No. L 336 of 23 December 2003:
1. The parts listed in Annex I to this opinion are exempted from the extension by Regulation (EC) No 71/97 of the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed by Regulation (EEC) No 2474/93 on bicycles originating in the People's Republic of China And maintained by Regulation (EC) No 1254/2000 on imports of certain parts of bicycles from the People's Republic of China.
The exemption takes effect for each of the parties as of the date indicated in the column ' Effective Date ".
2. Applications for exemption from the extended anti-dumping duty submitted in accordance with Article 3 of Regulation (EC) No 88/97 by the parties listed in Annex II to this opinion are rejected.
Suspension of payment of the extended anti-dumping duty Pursuant to Article 5 of Regulation (EC) No 88/97 shall be lifted for the parties listed in Annex II to this notice from the date indicated in the column ' Effective date ".
