ARRETE
Order of 5 January 2004 designating the Natura 2000 site of Brenne (special protection zone)

Minister of Ecology and Sustainable Development,
In view of Council Directive 79 /409/EEC of 2 April 1979 on the conservation of wild birds, in particular its Article 4 and Annex I;
In view of the Environmental Code, in particular Article L. 414-1-II, R. 214-16, R. 214-20 and R. 214-22;
Having regard to Act No. 2001-1 of 3 January 2001 enabling the Government to transpose Community directives and to implement certain provisions of Community law, in particular Article 3 thereof;
Having regard to Decree No 2001-1031 of 8 November 2001 on the procedure for designating Natura 2000 sites, in particular its Article 2;
In view of the decree of 16 November 2001 on the list of bird species which may justify the designation of special protection zones under the European ecological network Natura 2000 under the first paragraph of Article L. 414-1-II of the Code Environment,

Item 1


Is referred to as " Natura 2000 site in Brenne " (special protection zone FR 2410003) the territory Delimited on the assembly card at 1/100 000 and the three maps at 1/25 000 enclosed, extending over part of the territory of the following communes of the department of Indre: Lingé, Rosnay, Saint-Michel-en-Brenne.

Article 2


The list of bird species justifying the designation of the special protection zone of Brenne is appended to this Order.
This list As well as the maps referred to in Article 1 above may be consulted in the prefecture of Indre, the regional management of the environment Centre, as well as the direction of nature and landscapes in the Ministry of Ecology and of the Sustainable development.

Article 3


The Director of Nature and Landscape shall be responsible for the execution of this Order, which shall be Published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
