OIL AND GAS AS WELL AS GEOTHERMAL
BY THE GRACE OF GOD ALMIGHTY THE MINISTER OF THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weigh: a. That in order to preserve the function of the environment, it is necessary to control efforts and/or activities that could potentially cause pollution and/or environmental damage to life;
b. that the effort and/or activities of oil and gas as well as geothermal is one of the activities that could potentially inflict pollution and/or environmental damage, and so need to be specified in terms of the default of wastewater based on azas Care, fairness, and openness;
c. that under consideration as referred to in letter a and letter b as well as to carry out the provisions of Article 20 of the Law No. 32 of the Year 2009 on the protection and management of the environment, need to establish the Regulation of the Minister of State Environment

Law No. 32 Year 2004 on Regional Governance (Sheet State Republic Indonesia Year 2004 Number 125, Additional Leaf Indonesia Republic Indonesia Number 4437) as amended by Law No. 8 Year 2005 concerning Change Number 3 Year 2005 on Change of Law Number 32 Year 2004 on Local Government Act (in Indonesian Republic Year 2005 Number 108, Supplement) Sheet of State of Indonesia No. 4548);
DECIDED: SET OUT: THE RULES OF THE MINISTER OF THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT
ABOUT THE STANDARD OF WASTEWATER FOR THE EFFORTS OF AND/OR THE ACTIVITIES OF OIL AND GAS AS WELL AS GEOTHERMAL.
Article 1 In the Regulation of the Minister this is referred to: 1. Effort and/or oil and gas activities as well as geothermal is an attempt
and/or activities in the fields of oil, gas, and/or geothermal covering: the exploration and production of petroleum and petroleum (MIGAS) either on the shore And off shore , the exploration and production of geothermal, petroleum refining, refineries liquified natural gas (LNG) and liquified petroleum gas (LPG), and installation, depots and oil terminals.
2. Processing is the activities of purified, acquiring parts, higher quality, and higher the added value of petroleum and/or gas, but does not include field processing.

4. Default Water Quality for Efforts and/or the Activities of Oil and Gas as well as Earth Heat is the limit of the level and amount of polluting elements that are in the water of waste to be disposed of into the environment of the effort and/or the activities of oil and gas And geothermal.
5. Water waste is a waste in the form of liquid produced by the effort and/or activities in the fields of oil and gas as well as the heat of the earth being dumped into the environment.
6. The production water is water (brine) brought to the top of the hydrocarbon-containing strata during oil and gas extraction activities or water vapor for geothermal activity including formation water, injection water and chemicals. added for drilling or for the minyak/water separation process.
7. 8. 15. The Minister is the Minister who organizes government affairs in the areas of protection and the environment of life.
Section 2 (1) Of The Standard Water Quality For The Business And/Or The Oil And Gas Activities
and the Earth's heat includes: a. Waste of Water Quality for Exploration and/or Exploration Activities and
Production of Migas as set forth in Appendix I of this Minister's Regulation;
b. Hazardous Water Quality For Enterprise and/or Earth's Hot Production and Exploration Activities as set forth in Appendix II of this Minister's Regulation;
(c) IBM may not use any of the following IBM products or services to the IBM International Program (s).
(d) the IBM International Program Agreement for IBM International Program (s):
e. Default Water Quality for the Efcity and/or Installation Activities, Depot and Oil Terminal as set forth in Appendix V of this Minister Regulation.
(2) The attachment as referred to in paragraph (1) is an inseparable part of the Regulation of this Minister.
(3) In terms of the exploration facilities and production of oil and ground gas ( On-shore It's producing water production with a production of more than 90% of the production water, and dumping the production water into the sea, the production of the production water is set by the Minister by the mechanism of the licensing of the waste water into the sea by considering The principles of protection and environmental management.

Article 6 (1) The local government may establish a quality of wastewater quality more strictly than
the provisions as set forth in this Order of the Regulation. (2) The Baku quality of wastewater as referred to in paragraph (1) is specified
with provincial regulations. (3) If the local government does not establish a quality of wastewater for the
efforts and/or the activities of oil and gas as well as geothermal, applicable waste water quality as set forth in this Order of the Minister ' s Regulation.
Section 7 If the analysis of the environmental impact of the environment for the effort and/or the activities of oil and gas and geothermal requires that the water quality of wastewater be stricter than the standard of wastewater as set forth in the Order of this Minister's Regulation, The standard amount of waste water is required by an analysis of the environmental impact of the environment.
Article 8 If based on the results of the study the waste water disposal requires the standard of wastewater more strictly from the water quality of waste as

referred to in Section 2, Section 5, Section 6, or Article 7, the standard of waste water quality based on the results of the study.
Article 9 of the standard of waste water quality provisions as referred to in Section 2, Section 5, Section 6, Section 7, or Section 8 is required to be used in the waste water disposal permit.
Article 10 (1) of the business and/or oil and gas activities as well as heat
earth is mandatory: a. doing the management of wastewater so the waste water quality is in

b. inspect the standard of waste water quality parameters as set forth in this Order of the Minister's Ordinance at least 1 (one) times in a month in an accredited laboratory;

2) deliver the report on the daily discharge of the discharge and the standard level of waste water parameters as referred to in the letter b and the letter c at least 3 (3) months to the Bupati/ Mayor, Governor, Minister and technical agencies.
e. report the occurrence of abnormal conditions within 2 x 24 hour and emergency conditions within 1 x 24 hours to the Regent/Mayor, Governor, Minister and technical agencies;
f. handle abnormal or emergency conditions by running predefined handling procedures, so as not to harm human safety and health, as well as not to cause pollution and/or environmental destruction.
Article 11 (1) of the specified quality data is more stringent before the enactment of the Regulation
This minister is declared to remain in force.
