Regulations on Work Rules in the hotel industry

Established by the Local Government and Labour on 31 October 1991 pursuant to the Act of 4 February 1977 No. 4 relating to worker protection and working environment etc. (Working Environment Act) § 69 first paragraph.

§ 1. Purpose purpose of this regulation is to promote worker protection and working environment etc. in businesses within the hospitality industry.

§ 2. Scope This regulation applies to any business within the hospitality industry that employs staff.

§ 3. Work Regulations By operates in hotel and restaurant industry, which employs more than 10 employees, shall be for those employees who do not have managerial or supervisory positions working rules.

§ 4. More on duty content provisions of §§ 69-73 of the Law of 4 February 1977 No. 4 relating to worker protection and working environment etc. (Working Environment Act) apply correspondingly to activities covered by the regulation.

This regulation comes into force immediately.
