VILLA MIGUES
RISES TO THE CITY CATEGORY AND IS DECLARED HOLIDAYS ON THE OCCASION OF THE CENTENNIAL OF ITS FOUNDATION.
The Senate and the House of Representatives of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, meeting in General Assembly,
DECREE:
Article 1 °. Raise the current population called Villa Migues of the Canelons Department to the city category.
Article 2 °. Declaring holidays for the Migues Villa on 27, 28 and 29 June 1970, on the occasion of its centenary.
Article 3 °. Authorize public officials born in Villa Migues, 9th Judicial Section of the Department of Canelons, a three-day license to attend the celebrations to be held.
Article 4 °. The Executive Branch will have a $500,000.00 (five hundred thousand pesos) item to contribute to the expenses of the celebrations to be held. The consignment shall be charged to General Rentas.
Article 5 °. Commune, etc.
